Early voting in Texas

February 16, 2010

When we went in to vote today, I happened to know one of the election workers. He laughed when he said he didn’t even need to ask me but would I like the Democrat or Republican ballot?  I sheepishly told him, “Republican,” and the poor guy looked like he suffered a mini-stroke. I guess that’s what happens when I think I’m really funny.

Here’s some election info for North Texas, if you need it:

  1. I waited in line yesterday to vote. Of course everyone in front of me (and I am sure the people behind me) were all Republicans. When I said “Democrat” they all got silent. It was kinda awesome.
