Great Emotions, indeed

Ever wonder what a first violinist sees when playing a piece?  This video follows notes as they’re played in real time.  Technically, violinists are taught to look at the measures ahead of what they’re playing but this is a fun visual representation.

The Zurich Chamber Orchestra did this to promote their concerts.

Bringing this back to me – here parts 1 and 2 of my last concert with the New Texas Symphony Orchestra last year, performing the Allegro con fuoco from Dvorak’s New World Symphony (Symphony No. 9 in E minor, Op. 95).  I do sometimes miss playing.
